How do I get rid of unused or expired medications?
The best way to get rid of unused/expired medication is to drop them off at take-back programs which are a permanent program in other pharmacies. The following link will help you search for local disposal locations https://www.fda.gov/drugs/disposal-unused-medicines-what-you-should-know/drug-disposal-drug-take-back-options .If this is not accessible, SOME medications may be thrown in the trash. Please refer to the FDA’s flush list in the following link: https://www.fda.gov/drugs/safe-disposal-medicines/disposal-unused-medicines-what-you-should-know . If these medications are not on the list, they may be thrown in the garbage if mixed with something undesirable, placing the mixture in a sealed plastic bag, scratching out personal information from the medication container, and throwing it out in the household trash. Do NOT flush meds unless they’re on the approved list or throw them loosely in the trash.

Are there any options available to help reduce the cost of my medication?
If there are any issues with the medications’ cost, please refer to the pharmacy team. They will do all they can to lower the price of the medication.
Is the medication I take interacts with other medications or supplements?
To know if your medication interferes with others you’re taking, it’s important to consider possible drug interactions, which can affect how medications work or increase side effects. This includes prescription drugs, over-the-counter meds, and supplements. Always share a complete list of everything you take with your doctor or pharmacist, and check for interactions before starting something new.
