Important OTC medication that you should bring when traveling overseas are

2- stomach/digestive medication for traveler’s diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, and indigestion
3-Other medication to bring on vacation are allergy relief, motion sickness, cold/flu symptoms, and first aid basics.
    Make sure to check with your Pharmacist to make sure that it does not interfere with you regular medications.

The best way to get rid of unused/expired medication is to drop them off at take-back programs which are a permanent program in other pharmacies. If these medications are not on the list, they may be thrown in the garbage if mixed with something undesirable, placing the mixture in a sealed plastic bag, scratching out personal information from the medication container, and throwing it out in the household trash. Do NOT flush meds unless they’re on the approved list or throw them loosely in the trash.
